Kylie and Nates story began just weeks after high school graduation, at a party that unexpectedly changed everything. Nate was actually there supporting a friend who was trying to ask Kylie out, but when he realized the spark might be mutual, he made his move the only way he knew how: by throwing a beach ball right in Kylie’s face! Kylie was immediately drawn in, not just by that perfectly weird sense of humor, but by how genuinely kind he was with the kids at the event. After that first date, they were inseparable, spending every single day together from then on, a connection that carried them through college and was only briefly tested by five months of long-distance. As their next chapter approached, I knew I needed someone I could be completely comfortable with to capture the moment.
